TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The charge for each weekly let covers the period from 3pm on the Saturday of arrival to10am on the following Saturday. Short Breaks are normally for three or four nights. The arrival and departure days and times are by agreement with the proprietors.
Guests are particularly requested to vacate the property on time to allow servicing prior to the arrival of new guests.
The charge covers the use of the entire household facilities described in the brochure including electricity and heating. It includes the provision of bed linen and towels, which will be changed weekly for longer stays.
Weekly or longer lets may be booked any period in advance. Advertised short breaks may be booked up to three months in advance of the start date. Short breaks at peak times, if available, may be booked no more than two weeks in advance.
For bookings made less then six weeks in advance of the start date the full payment is due with the confirmation of booking. For bookings made more than six weeks in advance a deposit of £40 for each week booked is payable at the time of initial booking. The full balance is due not less than six weeks before the commencement of the let. Please make cheques payable to Mrs G Bennett.
Should the hirer cancel the booking more than six weeks before the commencement of the booked period the deposit is non-returnable. Cancellation of the booking less than six weeks before commencement will result in the loss of the full amount paid. It will not normally be possible to change the dates of a letting period after the booking has been confirmed, although the proprietors will try to assist in cases of genuine difficulty, provided the accommodation can be re-let for the original dates and acceptable alternative dates are available. In this case the hirer must pay any adjustment charges for the new period.
Should it be necessary for the proprietors to cancel a previously booked holiday we will endeavour to arrange alternative accommodation acceptable to the hirer, which may be at a higher cost. In the event that an acceptable alternative cannot be agreed the proprietors will refund all monies paid, and this shall be the limit of their liabilities.
The accommodation is only suitable for one or two persons, and the proprietors reserve the right to refuse entry to larger parties. The accommodation is unsuitable for pets, and a similar right to refuse entry is reserved. For safety, convenience of all our guests, and to comply with the law, the accommodation is designated as non-smoking. One parking space off the road is provided for guests, additional parking is available in the street.
At the end of each letting period guests should leave the accommodation in a clean and tidy state and report any damage or breakages. The proprietors reserve the right to charge for any exceptional cleaning required and for damage where it is considered beyond fair wear and tear on the property.
